As part of our 2023.2 Product Launch, the Butterfield 1800 series screw extractors have transitioned to the Dormer M900 series. Also launched are M901 series sets to replace the UB 1815 and 1816 series sets.

It's important to note that the core features and functionality of these products will remain unchanged. The new Dormer M900 series screw extractors and new M901 sets are already integrated into our product offerings and share identical dimensional specifications with the existing Union Butterfield screw extractors and sets. A direct crossover reference from Union Butterfield 1800 series to Dormer M900 series is available.

There will be updates to part numbers and packaging. Instead of being packaged in the familiar blue packaging, the products will now be delivered in red Dormer packaging. As the existing inventory is depleted, the Union Butterfield screw extractors will no longer be available for purchase.

Dormer M900 series screw extractors are also included in combined “bolt removal system” sets (M902). The Dormer M902 bolt removal sets offer full kits containing:

1. Dormer P100 series (1st stage)
2. Dormer P101 series (2nd stage) burrs
3. Dormer drill for pre-drilling the hole (3rd stage) for the screw extractor
4. Dormer screw extractor (4th stage) to turn out the broken screw “counterclockwise” to complete the removal process
