Our production unit in Šumperk was established in 1951 and has grown to become a leading supplier of inserts, bodies and custom tooling around the world. We are equipped with state-of-the-art technology that enables us to produce high quality inserts and tools. We invest heavily every year to increase our capacity and capability to provide our customers with the certainty that they need.
With every turn, quality, consistency and accuracy remain our primary focus. Our in-house research and development team are constantly pushing the boundaries, discovering new ways to develop our products to better serve our customers and the climate. Sao Paulo (Brazil)
In São Paulo, we manufacture drills, taps, and taper shank tools in high-speed steel, as well as solid carbide drills and end mills.
We currently produce 38 million units per year with every aspect of the manufacturing process performed in-house, from blank preparation and heat treatment to grinding, edging, coating, marking and packing. Having complete control of our manufacturing process means we can guarantee quality at every turn, with every unit.

Ankleshwar (India)
In December 2020, Miranda Tools became the newest member of the Dormer Pramet family. Its production unit is equipped with modern technology with every product manufactured to close tolerances and international standards (ISO, JIS and DIN). Around 15 million high-speed steel tools are manufactured and distributed here every year, from drill, tool bit and end mills to taps and reamers.
