In January 2023, Dormer Pramet introduced Dormer product boxes made from recycled material. We are happy to share, that the new greener packaging is now applied to the majority of Dormer branded products. 

Our customers will not notice too much difference in the boxes, with the only change being a slightly different shade of red. They will still work, feel and operate in the same way as today. Our tools are safely protected during transportation and storage. 

Dormer Pramet is dedicated to showing that we care for manufacturing and the environment. Our current supplier, Rose Plastics, already provides recyclable packaging material. The new materials have completed the loop by offering packaging made from recycled material. 

This change is one of many that we are excited about in our shift toward sustainable manufacturing. By expanding the use of recycled packaging to about 95% of items produced in the unit, we are replacing 110 tons of original plastic with recycled material. This change in materials also accounts for an impact on CO2 production. We are lowering the impact of our production unit in São Paulo by 6.7%.
